Raise money for charity by answering just one question!

It is early days for this blog, but not early days for my career in business or career in Crohn’s Disease (16 and 20 years respectively). I know what I have learnt over this time and hope to share with you, but I’d like to know what you’d like to see on this blog! So readers…

  • What do you want to read about on this blog?
  • What work / life / spirit situations do you find yourself having to manage differently because of chronic ill health?
  • What are your tips for managing ill health and the rest of your life?
  • Carers and relatives what would you like to read about?
For every comment (1) on this post I will donate 20p (2) to Crohn’s and Colitis UK
1) When you comment, please answer one of the questions above – entirely random comments don’t count!
2) Up to a total of £50 or the end of July 2011 – whichever comes first!

  2. If there is information on how to care for someone when they are ill. Suggest advice that can assist with their recovery e.g. Diet, comfort treatments, etc.

  3. Oohh! I’d like to hear about holistic approaches!

I feel it would be advantitious were you to consider featuring one or more of the following topics of interest here on your excellent web log:
    – A selection of internet sites wherein carers can discuss solutions to their problems
    – A look at the governmental support available both to carers and their patients in securing and maintaining a career
    – Features on, or indeed interviews with, successful people who’ve overcome some form of chronic illness
I also do not think it would be inappropriate to examine the occasional lighter issue. Thank you.

  6. Hello, great looking blog. Could you write anything aimed at teenagers? E.g. tips for school, college etc. Anyway, all very useful.

  7. I find drugs help me, YMMV.

  8. I’d like information about how you find commercial ventures, not just reviews, what people with various conditions find useful in situations such as toilet facilities, restaurant menus, supplies etc… I work in Garden centre with lare restaurant and farm shop attached so it would be useful to advise the company with this.

  9. Thanks everyone for the ideas so far! Keep them coming and keep raising money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK!

  10. Ways to cope to the side effects of the various drugs/painkilers needed would be great 🙂

  12. Managing children who may have to follow a restricted diet – I’m thinking Coeliac and gluten free (birthday parties, school lunches, school trips etc) – with busy working parents in mind.

Like Linda’s suggestion about managing embarrassing situations too.
